Welcome to Troop 752!

Registration Requirements

A potential boy scout must be 11 years old OR have completed 5th grade OR have earned the Arrow of Light Award as a Cub Scout.

Each boy joining Troop 752 must complete the following:

• Boy Scout Registration Form
• Registration fee of$25

Registration Fees

New Scouts who choose to join Troop 752 pay an initial joining fee of $25, and an annual $25 fee.

Monthly Camping and Activities

• The Troop has a camping trip or other weekend activity every month
• Fee are collected to cover transportation, food and use fees for camping trips and other troop activities

Chartered Organization

Hopewell Baptist Church is the chartered organization for Troop 752.

Meetings

• Monday evenings, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Meeting Location: Hopewell Baptist Church - 127 Ridge Road, Canton, Ga 30114

Uniforms

Full Boy Scouts of America Class A uniforms will be worn to all formal occasions (such as parades, Courts of Honor, Boards of Review) and all regular weekly Scout meetings (unless designated by the Scoutmaster). The Scoutmaster will determine Scout and leader dress for all activities. The Scoutmaster may conduct regular uniform inspections at his discretion.

• Class A uniform consists of the official Scout shirt with appropriate badges, long or short olive or khaki pants, and BSA belt. BSA hats are optional. Sashes are required to be worn with the Full Class A for First Class Scouts and above, except at the discretion of the Scoutmaster.

• Class C uniform consists of a Troop 752 T-shirt along with any casual pants or shorts.

Parental Involvement

There are several opportunities for parents to be involved with Troop 752. Some opportunities include: Assistant Scoutmasters, Merit Badge Counselors, Troop Committee Members, and participation in monthly camping/activity events.

Youth Protection

The Boy Scouts of America offers an adult youth protection training program. Every adult associated with Troop 752, including merit badge counselors, must take this training (which is available online).
