What are tour permits? When are they needed? |

A tour permit is approval from the counsel extending insurance for a troop activity. A Local Tour Permit is required for trips less than 500 miles, one way, outside of council boundaries.
A National Tour Permit is required for trips greater than 500 miles, one way.
Tour permits are not required for activities within our Council boundaries or for activities on Council-owned property.
